At Block Interval Timer, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data is handled securely and transparently.
1. Our "Privacy-First" Architecture
Block Interval Timer is built on a Local-First architecture. This means your core fitness data belongs to you and stays on your device.
- Local Storage: Your custom workout routines, exercise details, timers, and workout history (logs) are stored locally on your device using an internal SQLite database.
- No Cloud Syncing: We do not transmit your routines or exercise history to our servers. Your workout data is not backed up to our cloud and remains strictly on your physical hardware.
- No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use external tracking or analytics platforms. We do not track your behavior.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimum information required to manage your account and subscription.
- Anonymous ID: A randomly generated identifier is used to manage your local session, but it is not linked to your identity.
- Authentication (Sign in with Apple): When you upgrade to Pro, Apple manages your authentication. This information is processed securely by our service provider, Supabase and RevenueCat to allow you to restore your subscription across devices.
- Subscription Management: We use RevenueCat to track your "Pro" status. This includes your transaction history and a unique identifier to ensure your entitlements are active. We do not have access to your credit card information; all payments are processed securely by Apple.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to:
- Authenticate your access to the application.
- Process and verify your "Pro" subscription status.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the app:
- Supabase: Provides secure authentication and hosting for account metadata.
